Start at the “Snake Pit” down a dirt road crossing a dam wall onto the fairway on the Mashie Golf Course. It makes a round turn and follows a path down the fairway, crossing a bridge around a dam at the 9th hole on the golf course. It then takes a path on the fairway to a loop at the top and returns to tee at the bottom of the fairway. The route then enters the bushy area next to the eastern most fairway. After a loop around a clump of trees at the top it enters the bushy area on a pathway following the perimeter fence of the estate. At approx. 2.5 km it loops back ino the bush around a small dam, then back to the fence which it follows for the next 1.5 km. The route leads back onto the golf course after passing an old piggery on the estate. It crosses back to the 9th hole to the finish at the Caddy Shack restaurant.
