The course is scissors shaped, starts from the Kathu Equestrian Club House, and heads South-West towards the main entrance for 1kilometre on a beautiful hard surface road before turning left for 800m and left again towards the main club road for 700m. At the main club road, the course turns left again towards the main entrance for 500m. That will be the first loop. At the main entrance turn right and follow the path towards the Golf course edge, enjoy the vegetation and tranquil sounds of the birds as you complete one full lap before re-tracing your steps back to the clubhouse to finish a refreshing 5000m to the sounds of horses in the stables.
