Harrismith

From the Reserve gate (start) you take the gravel road to the South-East which is on the right (it is quite rocky in places so please be careful) At the first split in the road you need to keep left between the gum trees (the mountain should be on your left) The road splits again & you need to keep left so that you are heading for the mountain The road bears right and goes down next to a fence and then crosses the main gravel road (that comes from the gate), the road becomes a path as you head down towards the dams and go over a bridge Immediately go right along the path so that you run over the dam wall between the 2 dams After the dam wall you run 50m and then bear left before going down a steep-ish incline to stone steps which take you to the bridge that crosses the river. Cross the bridge & up the path on the other side (approximately 3.2km to the bridge). Path forks at the top of the incline & you need to keep left so that you are heading towards the Block House (forest of gum trees approximately 100m on right). From the block house you need to keep running parallel to the mountain on a grass track; You will cross a stream while going through some wattle trees before the grass path joins a gravel road, keep left onto the gravel road (you are now moving away from the mountain). The gravel road has rocky spots so please be careful, it can also be muddy near the bridge at the bottom if it has been raining. The gravel road joins the main road going to the gate (keep right) & the finish is where you started off.
