The route is mostly flat with gravel and sand, with the odd speed bump, but nothing serious. Starting at the winery you run through the vineyards; across the (not rickety) Rickety Bridge; onto Basse Provence (the neighbouring farm); through more vineyards - remember to look up and enjoy the magnificent view of the mountains around Franschhoek - back across the Bridge; a slight incline around the edge of Rickety Bridge and to the finish.
