The majority of the undulating route is run on broad dirt roads between the vineyards. The course starts above the marquee, following the road, loops around Pinotage pond, then follows the contour of the hill, around the pump house, further follows the hill, then zigzags through the upper vineyards and finishes on the grass field close to the restaurant.
