Aliwal North

Starting at the Aliwal North Airfield, runners will run down a gravel road, approximately 500m, which will follow into an open field where they will do a 3/4 loop which will then exit left onto a shoulder which will take them towards the Orange River. Turing right, runners will run alongside the riverbanks up to Conville Farm B&B, which is an historic guest house, an old Sir Herbet Baker styled home, more famously known for the buildings such as the Grote Schuur Hospital. Turning right onto the gravel, the runners will see the old irrigation furrows used in the past, until they reach the gate on their left which will take them back up to the Airfield where they will finish.
