Starting at the main entrance to the Park next to the Lower castle Car Park we head anti clockwise around the outside of the football pitches along the path, over the humpback bridge and towards the cycle path. At the 'T' junction we turn right for 100m and then switch back and head towards the railway line. Then, under the very low railway bridge and then take the cycle/walk route over Lucifer Bridge towards Haysden Park, through Haysden Park completing one lap clockwise of Barden Lake before returning to the start/finish line using the same route as the out-bound leg but in reverse.
