St Andrews parkrun consists of three full laps of the path around the perimeter of the park with a short additional section after passing the start for the third time which takes you to the finish. The start is located at the main park entrance accessed through the brick gatehouse from the car park. The route is completed in an anti-clockwise direction. Starting on tarmac paths the route turns left at the playpark, heading uphill towards the ticket office/cafe where it turns to the right on each of the three full laps. The route then takes you to the left of the toilets where it joins a gravel path and continues on that path until reaching the top point of the park nearest the golf course. It then turns to the left and heads downhill towards the old scout hut on your right before turning left and crossing a wooden bridge which takes you back to the start. After completing your third full lap continue on the path as before but when reaching the ticket office/cafe continue straight on into the finish funnel.
