Rickmansworth parkrun is a flat, clockwise 2 lap course run entirely on a combination of tarmac and footpaths within Rickmansworth Aquadrome. Runners and volunteers should assemble at the start line next to The Cafe in the Park. The first 400 metres is a straight stretch on a wide tarmacked path between Bury and Batchworth Lakes. You then follow Bury Lake around to the left, before taking a right turn onto a footpath running alongside the River Colne. This footpath loops you back around Batchworth Lake, bringing you back to the start line and completing your first lap. A second, identical lap follows, after which you peel off onto a flat, fast straight taking you past the café to the finish line.
