Phoenix parkrun is a two and a half lap course starting in the park close to the Greenbridge canal bridge. The course includes a climb up towards the busway, before heading down past the climbing boulder and onto the play area and cafe. The course continues through the park before turning left onto the path by the lake. At the end of the lake the course returns to the park on the canal towpath and back to the start for the second lap. On the third lap, the course finishes at the finish funnel shortly after the play area and cafe. The park paths are tarmac and the canal towpath has recently been resurfaced providing a good running surface for the entire course.
