The run takes place on the Racecourse in central Northampton. The start is positioned behind the Pavilion Carpark, Kettering Road, adjacent to the basketball and tennis courts. The course follows the perimeter tarmac paths of the park and consists of two laps going in an anti-clockwise direction. The first lap will consist of almost a full loop of the park. The second lap will turn left at the start, consisting of a shorter lap. The finish is 80m past the start and will head in a 120 degree angle finishing on the grass. This will be marked by a finishing funnel.
