The course begins with a 350m stretch on grass on the inside of the park followed by a stretch along a footpath. Then follows another 700m of grass up to the top left corner of the park which then leads into the woods. Runners follow a kilometre of footpath alongside the river which brings them to a junction. At the end of the first lap a right turn is taken to start the second lap. On second lap, continue on 50 yards to finish at the walled section.
