The course consists of a scenic riverside run along the banks of the River Medway; starting at the Museum of Kent Life, down to Allington lock, along the towpath past Allington Castle, past the marina, across the blue bridge over the river to Whatman Park, a small loop around the play area of Whatman Park, back over the river and back into the Museum of Kent Life past the animals and ending at the top of the slope round the back of Dotty's Tea Room.
