Huntingdon

Huntingdon parkrun is a two lap, mixed surface, anti-clockwise course that starts on the main field near the café. The course goes across the grass before turning left to join the path that takes you around the main field. Run past the hump-backed bridge & gym equipment and then turn right between the storage container and the apiary. Run all the way down Chestnut Avenue, past the bridge and anticlockwise around the ornamental lake. Take care here as the path surface is uneven. Continue running straight ahead and take a right and then left to join up with the path that goes up towards the car park. Cross the car park access, avoid the bollard and then join the path on your right that takes you behind the park. Continue to the end of this path and then turn left to begin the second lap. At the end of the second lap, turn left onto the field and run towards the park and cafe to the finish funnel. The start and finish is on grass and short sections of the course can be muddy with some puddles at times, so trail shoes are recommended if available to you during periods of wet weather. There are some sections of grass and woodland path, however, the route is suitable for road shoes, participants with buggies and dogs.
