The route passes through the beautiful woodland trails of Ether Hill. Starting on the playing fields by the pavillion and cricket nets, the course follows half a lap of the field and enters the woods close to Foxhills Road. The route is undulating with views over Queenswood Golf Course and covers 3 laps of the woodland trail. After the third lap, you will exit the woods and run clockwise around the fields to finish between the car parks, parallel to the road. The course is mostly woodland trail and so there are some exposed tree roots and may be fallen leaves and mud. Sign posts and/or marshals will be at all turning points. Some areas may accumulate mud and puddles after rain.
