The parkrun follows a simple out-and-back route along the banks of the river Conwy, with a short diversion towards Conwy castle on the outward section of the run. It is mostly flat, only climbing when it crosses the railway line over a pedestrian bridge. The path used for the parkrun is quite wide on the whole and is gravel/tarmac throughout. There is, however, a narrow section with restricted visibility as you cross the railway bridge so please be aware of other path users at that point.
