The course is four and a half clockwise laps using most of the perimeter pathway of the park. The whole of the course is on tarmac except for the finishing funnel. The start is towards the top of the main pathway through the centre of the park. The course heads up the hill for approximately 60m before turning right for a clockwise half lap of the perimeter of the park. The 4 full laps of the park begin at the bottom of the hill on the west side of the park next to the cricket pavilion and this is also where the finish is located, with the funnel running off the path onto the cricket outfield. The course is undulating with the finish being much lower than the start, so more downhill than uphill.Please note that dogs are not allowed at this event as the course is to narrow in places to accomdate them and runners.
