Starting opposite the courts, head towards the car park and turn right just before the barrier. Down the hill and turn right to follow the path around the perimeter of the park. DO NOT cross the bridges. Avoid the steps by taking the right turn and head for the slope. At the top of the slope, turn left into the ornamental gardens. Run around the outer path and back out into the park. BEWARE of other runners entering the gardens. Head for the archway (both paths are the same distance but stay off the grass!) and onto the main pathway. Take care over the 'sleeping policemen' (speed bumps) and pass either side of the barriers showing consideration to other runners and park users. Continue past the start onto the next lap. After you have completed 4 laps (been up the slope 4 times!), head to the finish on the left side of the path. Cross the line once and once only! Stay in order in the funnel - DO NOT leave the funnel until you have collected a finish token. EVERYBODY takes a token. If you don't want to be included in the results, that's fine - don't present a barcode to the scanner. DO NOT TAKE OUR TOKEN home! Please remember that everyone else has right of way at all times! Respect other runners and other park users at all times.
