Starting on the west side of The Milldown adjacent to the Blandford to Sturminster Newton Trailway you head clockwise around the tarmac path keeping to the right hand side until the marshalled point where you turn left onto grass to the centre of The Milldown. From here, you turn diagonally left towards the start area and continue straight over the tarmacked path and onto the stoney path leading to the Trailway and staying on the slopes path to the left hand side. At the bottom, turn right and continue along the trail way under the Bypass and then sharp left, continue past the barn then into the open until you meet a marshall prior to a fence that cuts across the trail way, at this point you turn 180 degrees and return along the trail way to the finish to the point at which you joined the Trailway. Token scanning will be completed in a separate area to your right once through the finish funnel after a 50m walk along path turning immediately left.
