Armley

Three laps on a mixture of tarmac paths and grass. The start is at the bowling club gate opposite the tennis court. The course is run anti-clockwise, beginning on a straight wide tarmac path, which then curves to the left at the back of the park and runs straight to join the field. Running along the perimeter of the golf course and football pitches, past the playground and wooded area. It then returns to tarmac path towards the front entrance flower beds, past the old water fountain and back to the bowling club. Armley Park is only 2 miles from Leeds city centre, and although it is an inner city park, it's high aspect provides a course with beautiful leafy views across the golf course and the valleys of Kirkstall and Headingley. The course is flat and accessible for all, including prams, and perfect for couch to 5k groups right through to those looking for a PB.
