A fast, flat, tree-lined course through the park's extensive series of tarmac paths. Runners are to meet at the centre of the park, where the finish line is located. The course, which follows an anti-clockwise direction, starts next to the model car racing circuit approx. 200m from the centre of the park. The route follows the path north, taking a left turn at the north end of the park, continuing westwards, before turning left around the perimeter of the golf course, heading south, then taking the next right around the tennis courts. The route continues westwards along the path, taking the next left going southwards,continuing onwards to meet the main avenue through the park, where it turns left again and proceeds eastwards along the main avenue. The course takes a left at the centre of the park, continuing over the footbridge before taking a final left turn back towards the model car circuit to conclude the first lap. Second lap follows the same circuit, but finishes in the centre of the park (prior to the left turn at centre of park).
