A fast, flat 5 kilometer course through the park's series of tarmac paths. Runners are to meet at the pond, located at the south side of the park. The finish line is located a bit further north, with the closest gate being the Poppintree Crescent gate. The route follows the path north towards the Jamestown Road, around the circumference of the park and loops back down around the pond. This route will be completed three times.
