This parkrun passes the front of Castletown House and then takes a left turn through a gate where participants run along the reservoir filled with ducks and the occasional swan, then it turns right and follows a top path for 200m with a downhill stretch at the end. There is a sharp left turn at the end where the parkrun route follows a lower path along the side of the River Liffey.
